DELE preparation – walk into the exam with confidence
Gain an internationally recognised Spanish certificate with the support of experienced teachers. We begin with a 60-minute initial interview with a certified teacher and recommend the right level on the basis of it. The interview costs 859 Kč, and it is free if your level proves sufficient. During the course you will sit mock versions of every part of the exam, learn the strategy for passing it and receive practical feedback. The preparation is individual, tailored to your level and the time you have.

Next DELE exam dates
There are two kinds of DELE exams and certificates – general and escolar (for school-age candidates). They differ mainly in how much cultural knowledge and vocabulary they expect. The escolar versions of the DELE are designed for students aged 11 to 17.

How to register for the DELE exam

Exam registration
To register for a particular DELE exam date, please fill in the registration form, pay the corresponding fee into the Czech-crown account of Hispánica s.r.o. and send the completed form as a PDF together with proof of payment as a PDF to dele@hispanica.cz. We will confirm your registration once it has been processed.

Diplomas from the DELE Spanish exam
The DELE is the Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE); to obtain it you must pass the exam at the appropriate level. It is issued by Spain's Ministry of Education and Vocational Training as proof of your level of Spanish and awarded by the Instituto Cervantes. The DELE is a prestigious international qualification which, unlike some other diplomas, never expires. DELE exams are taken in person in Prague (Instituto Cervantes), Brno (Hispánica) and Ostrava.

Level assessment and recommendation
Before registering for the exam or starting to prepare for it, it is worth having a level assessment. It has a spoken and a written part: the spoken part takes about 30 to 60 minutes and is a friendly conversation on a range of topics. Based on how it goes, you are then given the written part to complete.
The outcome is a concrete recommendation: register for a particular level of the exam, prepare for it, or first complete the level so that you can pass. It also includes an estimate, in hours, of the study needed. If you decide to prepare for the exam with us, the initial assessment is free.

Exam preparation
We will gladly prepare you for the DELE exam here at Hispánica through a one-to-one DELE preparation course. It takes the form of repeated mock exams with detailed feedback: you learn how the exam is marked, how the examiners think, and pick up strategies for both the spoken and the written parts. The preparation course suits students who are already at, or close to, the level required and can concentrate on exam technique itself.
General information and conditions
- Lessons take place at the time and to the extent agreed between the teacher and the student.
- The teacher waits for the student for a maximum of 15 minutes; after that the lesson is cancelled and counted as taught.
- A lesson cancelled less than 24 hours before it starts is counted as taught.
- The minimum length of a lesson is 60 minutes.
- The minimum number of lessons ordered and paid for is 10. Payment must be made before the lessons begin (to Hispánica's bank account).
- Before one-to-one tuition begins you may request a free assessment of your level together with a recommendation on how to continue.
- Prepaid lessons must be used within 6 months; after that they expire. Making a new payment always extends their validity.
- The minimum number of lessons invoiced per calendar month is 75 % of the planned volume, and at least 3 units.
- The notice period for ending the tuition is 4 weeks.
- Fees are governed by the current price list for one-to-one tuition. The school reserves the right to update it as needed, in particular to reflect the cost of teaching.
