Privacy policy
This policy describes how Hispánica s.r.o. handles the personal data you provide through the contact form and the one-to-one tuition enquiry form on this website. Processing is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on personal data processing.
1. Data controller
The controller is Hispánica s.r.o., registered office at Křenová 493/73, 602 00 Brno, Czech Republic, company ID 03128962, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Regional Court in Brno, section C, entry 83708. 2. What data we process and why
Through the contact form we process your name, email address, telephone number where given, and the content of your message, in order to answer your question and continue the related correspondence.
Through the one-to-one tuition enquiry form we process your first name and surname, email address, telephone number, address and details of your learning needs (current level, goals, preferred intensity and length of tuition, times available), in order to deal with your enquiry, prepare a quotation and conclude a tuition contract.
3. Legal basis for processing
For the contact form, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your question and communicating with prospective students (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); where the question concerns ordering a service, it is a step taken prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
For the one-to-one tuition enquiry, the legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, or performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Providing the data is voluntary, but without it we cannot deal with your enquiry or question.
4. How long we keep the data
Data from the contact form is kept for as long as needed to deal with the question and the related correspondence, and for no longer than 6 months, unless a contractual relationship arises in the meantime. Data from the one-to-one tuition enquiry is kept while the enquiry is being dealt with; if no contract is concluded, for no longer than 6 months. If a contract is concluded, we keep the data for its duration and then for the period required by law (in particular tax and accounting records for up to 10 years).
5. Recipients of the data
We do not pass your data to third parties, except to the providers who run our website, email and IT services for us, and always on the basis of a data processing agreement. We do not transfer data to countries outside the EU.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to object to processing and to data portability. You can exercise these rights using the contact details above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech supervisory authority: Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, www.uoou.cz.
7. Group courses
The processing of personal data in connection with enrolment on and attendance of group courses is governed by our General Terms and Conditions for Group Courses.
This policy has been in effect since 1 January 2025.
