A Spanish school with a track record
We have been teaching Spanish with enthusiasm since 2012 – with a team of native teachers, individual attention and good materials for every student.
How we came to teach Spanish the way we do
Before Hispánica was founded, Spanish teaching in Brno was a rather sad affair: nobody took it seriously, for language schools it was the third or fourth language on the list, good materials were hard to come by and lessons were dull and overcrowded. That is why we set up Hispánica in 2012 – a language school and centre devoted entirely to Spanish.
Today we offer group and one-to-one courses at every level, preparation for the DELE certificates, classes for children, business Spanish, translation, interpreting and localisation. We have dozens of quality coursebooks and materials, and lessons are taught by experienced native speakers who understand what students need.
Modern premises in the centre of Brno
Spanish and Czech lessons take place in our well-equipped premises at Křenová 73 in Brno, where students can help themselves to refreshments and make use of wi-fi, maps and a library of supplementary materials and coursebooks, which they can also buy.
We use the Prisma, Nuevo Prisma, Cronómetro and Clan 7 coursebooks from the Edinumen publishing house, along with our own materials for business and workplace Spanish. For Czech lessons we have written our own materials with detailed explanations in Spanish, which help students master pronunciation, cases and grammar step by step.

Our method for Spanish
We have developed our own method for teaching Spanish and other Romance languages, and it gets you speaking from the very beginning. We believe a language is a tool – which means it has to be used. Forget memorising word lists or filling in gaps: our lessons are built on active conversation and on using the language naturally. Progress is quick, noticeable and works at every level.
